WOW. What a get -- it's safe to say no one saw that coming. We thought one DeVonte Dedmon was good, but now we have two?! Cluley will have an incredible plethora of options to throw to this coming season. Let's keep him upright.

Below is our article/analysis of Jalen Christian -- including scouting analysis, highlight reels, quotes, and more!

LET'S GO TRIBE!!!

The poll caps off at 10 wins, this team legitimately could win more than that. They've been ranked in the top 10, and even top 5, of preseason polls.

Remember when watching those highlights that they are from his Junior year in high school.

Special Teams should get a spark. I foresee some [fake] reverses on KO returns.

I think we'll miss Reeves' blocking on screens and passes to the flat so I hope some guys step up in that area.

I had been thinking the same thing about KO's. Could be fun, some reverses, some fakes.......We did not have Reeves after JMU, thoughts on success of those plays after he was out?

Agree. While I am excited to have what appears to be a special kind of player, I caution people not to fall in love with the stars attached to a player.

His film is strong, he was highly recruited, so the odds are he is going to be fun to watch and very productive.

I've been around this game a long time and the star label sometimes is exaggerated. Not saying it is here, I'd just say let's give the kid a chance to come in and play before we get too excited.

This unit needs depth. It has highly productive players already, but if you remember only one of the 4 top returning receivers played in the spring game.

I like this addition more because he gives us a six man rotation filled with impact players at WR. We did not have that to close out the season last year. We finished the year with only 3 of the top receivers. (WR position).

I am hopeful he truly is everything that comes with a 4 star athlete. If he is, this unit could put on a show each week, which bodes well for the run game too.

He'll be even stronger and faster now that he's had a few years to work on it!
