The only other game that comes to mind is the Maryland game a few years ago. I believe they were ranked in the top 10 at the time, but I could be mistaken.

Hope to see us do something for Pat as well. I would like to see us leave a courtside seat for her with a bouquet of flowers. Maybe we can get money together to donate to Alzheimer's research? As someone who has seen loved ones struggle with the disease, I would be willing to put in some money towards that end.
UCLA was big as well, they were ranked #5 at the time.
Yes it was a very good contract to get. I guess the TN deal is perceived bigger due to their having such a long term at or near the top of WBB and of course all their recent media coverage.
We also have Rutgers, St. John's and Wake Forest on the schedule
Sweet!

St. John's is coached by Joe Tartemella, a Duke from class of '01. Very cool!

RE: WBB schedule 2016/17
I remember coach O saying that there wouldn't be a downgrade to the program with him at the helm. At least from a scheduling standpoint he is doing just as good as Kenny.
It remains to be seen if the product on the court will be better, but right now feeling really good about the WBB program being in the right hands.

Wow, I had no idea. I thought it was all Kenny. In that case, he's still doing an awesome job.

I probably came over as a bit abrupt, sorry, want JMU WBB fans to know how important Sean has been to the program and for this reason, I personally wanted him to get the gig. In all honesty, he probably will have more opportunity to move up, if successful, than what KB had. Just about every D1 head coach and AD knows Sean due to his constant bugging them for games.

Hey if KB loves JMU so much.......why doesn't JMU already have a home-home deal with VT for 2016 & 2017 seasons.

Can't tell if you are being serious or not, but I would assume maybe because he doesn't want to coach/compete against the girls he recruited.

Right now he knows it would be a "L" but give him a couple years and we should get some action out of the Gobblers.

I am serious as a heart-attack. Come on KB give JMU a home-home deal. He knows how hard it is for JMU to get home-home deals with P5 schools.
I don't want to hear garbage about he does not want to coach against girls he recruited......happens all the time. I agree with BP -- KB is scared of the 'L' and that it would be bad for him to get beat at his new gig by the school he left.

RE: WBB schedule 2016/17
Nov. 13...Lady Dukes host St. Francis and MBB hosts Rice.
Potential doubleheader???
Sorry if this has already been covered/answered.
(also just noticed the Convo will have 2 games on New Years Eve as well...MBB opens CAA play vs Drexel while Lady D's host Wake Forest)
edit note...game at Florida State on Nov. 20, Sunday will very likely at minimum be streamed live via ACC's new ACC Network Extra online service (just think ESPN-3 with an ACC bow/name on it...if you can get ESPN-3, you can get ACCNE)
