From what I've seen and read. That's kinda the point. A UBI is really just a way to eliminate extreme poverty and alleviate unemployment or partial employment.

From what I've seen and read. That's kinda the point. A UBI is really just a way to eliminate extreme poverty and alleviate unemployment or partial employment.

How does giving people an income alleviate unemployment?
Giving them an income isn't the same as giving them a job.
Not having a job and thus an income is a motivator for finding employment.
Giving people an income is counter intuitive as it completely takes away the urgency to be out looking for a job.

Yeah, if you're gonna give me a check for doing nothing or a check for busting my ass, I'm taking the easy one.

Honestly I wish it were McDonald's or Burger King doing this because I can't remember the last time I had a bad experience or a messed up order at Wendy's. It's about a 50/50 proposition at the first two.

Nah, just knew there must have been another threadon the same topic so did simple search and this one popped up. Didn't see need to create an entirely new thread.

WaWa convenience stores already have kiosks for ordering sub sandwiches etc. Then you just wait for someone to make it, then go through the checkout line to pay.
