Wow...that dual citizenship surely pays off for Terry. Would imagine he'll be at the Olympics if he makes the team.

Excited to be heading to France to pursue my lifelong dream of playing for the French National Team. One step at a time...Here we go ???

I took it as he hopes to play on the French national team. He needs to make it first. I'm sure his plan is to play professionally in France and use that dual citizenship to its full advantage.

Terry tweeted that he made it past the 1st cuts. Way to go.

France is scheduled to start play in the Philippines on July 5th in one of the three qualifying tournaments for the last of three Olympic qualifying spots.

Daily Press article stated Terry is trying out for French Team A which is France's backup team that they draw on for replacements to the French National team. Started with 18 players invited, made the first cut and if he makes the final cut to 12, then the team is off to China for a couple of tournaments starting July 1st.

Congrats to Terry who made the final cut for l'Equipe de France A, the backup group for the French National Team. They now play in the Stankovic Cup tournament in Beijing, then another tournamant in Shanghai for the next few weeks, starting today. The Stankovic Cup is round robin with the national teams from China, Argentina and Nigeria, all who have qualified for Rio...Talk about getting to see the world in your first month after graduating!...Paris to China

Puts him in position for a lot of exposure for signing on with someone, as well as, if the National team qualifies for Rio and someone is injured, he could get called up. A lot of versatility for Terry, since he's the only one listed for both the 2 or 3 slot.
