I also found this ranking of some of ODU's recruits interesting. Several of them just never panned out, and 3 of ODU's incoming recruits made the list.

Wow! Five of the seven highest rated recruits since 2000 were landed in the last two classes and people are still whining that Jones can't recruit or that he can't land highly rated recruits. ?

HAHA my thoughts exactly. Hicks just about never saw the floor. Pimentel sucked, ended up finishing at Longwood (got into some trouble before graduating) and Palmore never really developed for us.

I dont know about the accuracy of ratings but the stuff you mention has nothing to do with how well they were perceived as recruits.

I don’t give a rats arse about recruiting rankings, haven’t in a long time since I realized how worthless they are at the mid major level.

Part of the reason I didn’t celebrate with joy over Jeff’s last class that was “the best ever in odu history forever ever!!!” per the same guys trying to convince us how important they are now after they’ve yet again been proven worthless. But sure, yeah, why not, let’s give jones an extension based on nothing more than this lol.

3...4...5 stars...doesn't matter if they don't see the floor.

OK... Here it is ... we have a couple of bigs ( 6ft 11 transfers visiting not this week end but next week end )...maybe we get them both...maybe none...nobody knows at this point...all I know is the first big step is getting them on campus and that is going to happen! GOOD LUCK!!!!

One of the things that you said concerned me. You said Kithcart is not what we thought he was. I am hearing the opposite of that. Hopefully I am right and you are wrong. I guess we will find out.

A friend told me about this.I wouldn't mention names myself. Every time someone mentions a name, it doesn't happen for the Monarchs. They are from schools you have heard of! Now, back to whining folks.

The much traveled part just made me think of him. He's headed to his 4th school; VCU, Miami and FGCU. And yet, he'd be a great addition.
