In other news, the wolves have been asked to look into the disappearance of the chickens from the hen house.

Not really. Not when it changes year-to-year.

Take top 25 teams & conference tournament winners.

With leftover spots look at RPI giving favor to those team in P5 conferences.

With the Squid and Mike Slive on the job, I'm sure we have nothing to worry about.

NCAA surveying members about basketball tourney selectors, payouts
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nca.../85847124/

P5 trying to screw everyone else...again

“When we talked about the autonomy governance system, there were general assurances we were given – and some of it’s actually codified in the (NCAA) constitution – that the basketball system will be left alone and the revenue distribution system will be left alone,” Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Commissioner Rich Ensor told USA TODAY Sports after Monday’s meeting.

“Yet, here we are 18 months into the new governance process and we have a survey asking us to look at the composition of the men’s basketball committee and a survey telling us we have a new revenue distribution amount (and) do we go into a required academic distribution.”

Eventually, IMHO, the straw that breaks the camel's back will be P5 schools increasing their scholarship limits from 85 to 105. That will mark the end of the NCAA...

I'm sure the P5 apologists will point to Syracuse making the Elite 8 when they shouldn't have even been in as a reason to take away more at-large bids from mid-majors.

There is only one real solution.

There are 351 division one basketball teams.

Whatever the payout is for that year's tournament is, divide it by 351 and mail everybody a check.

Until an equal distribution happens, somebody is getting screwed.

True. While it may not change every year as soon as non power teams figure out how to get more in the tweak the criteria.
