But fully seriously, one team. Have them play their games in blocks of 3-4 weeks at a time on both continents. Give them a US training facility and it could work.

After the referendum on Easter I am opposed to bringing football to Turkey.

But surprisingly their #1 issue is a playoff team needing to travel long distance for a playoff game.

I believe there is an obvious solution to this. Realignment

So the conferences would look like this

AFC East
London Jaguars, NE, Buf, NYJ, Miami, NYG, Philly, Wash

AFC Central
Pitt, Cle, Cincy, Balt,
Tenn, Indy, Hou, Car

NFC central
Minn, GB, Chi, Det,
Atl, Tampa, NO, Dal

NFC west
LA Rams, SF, Sea, Ariz,
SD Chargers, LV Raiders, KC, Den

i dont think this will work unless Europe has there own division full of teams from that area.

All they would have to do is play games in blocks of 3-5 weeks on both sides of the ocean. This would a require a US training facility for the London team and vice versa.

RE: NFL strongly considering franchise in London
I know the networks would not be opposed to having more football during the February sweeps period. For example, to stretch the playoffs during the 2018 postseason:

Saturday-Tuesday January 6-9, 2018: Conference Quarterfinals
Saturday-Sunday January 20-21, 2018: Divisional Round
Sunday, February 3, 2018: Conference Championships
Sunday, February 17, 2018: Super Bowl

By expanding the playoff field from 12 to 16 you eliminate the possibility of a team going three weeks between games. Anyone playing outside the United States would have sufficient time for travel, and the early rounds would have a variety of time slots that can accept games played overseas.
