Secret Service tell-all book
My first reaction to the announcement of the upcoming expose about the Clinton White House, as written by a former Secret Service agent, was to cringe. Not because of the potentially juicy tidbits but more so because of the feeling as to what the Secret Service has become.

For virtually all of our history, the Secret Service has been the most elite law enforcement group which had the highest standards and reputation. The Secret Service was dedicated to protecting the President regardless of the individual agent's political leanings.

Yet we have seen several scandals rock the Service, both in questionable activities (the Columbian prostitution scandal) or the misfires around the White House.

Perhaps the tell-alls author has seen the shine come off the Secret Service and decided that the old norms and standards need no longer apply.

Yup. Just another person who wants to make money off of the Clinton's. It's a cottage industry. You see, they are already improving the economy. Amazing.

While I enjoy the political fallout on this one, the Secret Service agents should not be allowed to do this, even after retirement. Bill Clinton is a scumbag, but even he should be entitled to a private life without some ex-agent spilling the beans.

Bill Clinton may have been a scumbag but he was a good president. Much like Nixon.

The Clintons are scumbags. What's really new about that?

Nothing... but the Secret Service agent's job is to protect lives, not gossip about Bill's interns and prostitutes.

to be honest, there have been constant leaks from secret service sources for ages about Hillary and bill's time at 1600 Penn. Ave... that being said, I think a tell-all book is a bad idea.

It would seem that as a a condition of employment, they could be required to sign some sort of non-disclosure agreement. But then, I guess even if there was such an agreement, some lawyer would sue to have it revoked on grounds of free speech.

I think I've read where even the CIA has a problem enforcing non-disclosures. So they rely on the threat of a double tap.

The CIA will kill ex-employees who say to much in tell-all books?

Just a little parody.

Why would I need to read this?

Let me guess....Bill was banging cocktail waitresses two by two and was treated for syphilis contracted from underaged hookers.

Hillary is a pipe hittin' beyotch with the warmth of a seasick crocodile who keeps and constantly updates a list of personal enemies.

Both of them look at government "service' as a huge free ATM for gobs of cash and both would crawl over their dying mothers to go through her purse if it meant grabbing a few more shekels.

why?

if slander, then prosecute....

if no prosecute, then admission by guilt....

why do you think trump is so adamant about using the the courts and not tapping out....

so many folks don't understand the 'why'.....
