ESPN GO showing 6:30 PM on ESPN3 indicates LSU is home team

I hate to be that guy, but the weather looks like rain around 8:30-9:30. Hopefully we can get this one in without long delays which could burn out pitching.

Kid is going to be extremely tough. Definitely a lot different than we've seen the past few weeks. 3 or 4 pitches, good fastball from a tall frame, and a sharp breaking ball. A little wild though.

Rice goes 1-2-3 (K, GO, GO) but we battled and made him throw some pitches. Chandler and Proctor hit it fairly hard.

First ESPN complaint is their silly graphic showing Rice with a 2 and LSU with a 4 on the in-game scoreboard. LSU's 4 refers to their national seed, Rice's 2 refers to its regional seed. But together, it's pretty misleading.

1-2-3 inning for the Owls but made him work for it.. 15 pitches in the 1st.

Hasn't been close on most, but doesn't help that the strike zone has shrunk on him.

The good Jon from last week has disappeared. Three walks to load the bases with 1 out, and already 22 pitches. Need to minimize the damage.

Ben McDonald described the play pretty correctly. But where the hell was the umpire. Warren clearly had his hand up for awhile and the ump wasn't hustling at all.

What a ****** rule! How can you not try to get the ball if you are putting in the umpire's judgment either way?

I'm not exactly how you have a field rule that literally forces an outfielder to get down flat and crawl under a bench. One of the dumbest things I've seen.
