It should be noted that this top 10 list is based on potential production #'s. Which is why a few big name backs might not make the list.

If the Cajuns utilize Eli to his potential then he will have some gaudy numbers. We plan to get him a TON of catches out of the backfield and even in the slot this year. Spread the field. We ran him too much up the gut last year with Alonzo Harris' departure to the NFL.

He'll be very effective in that role if you guys can find a QB that can get the ball to him. Eli's a talented player, and he'll be the best player on the field most of the times that he's in a game.

while Breida can put up huge numbers, I don't think he will have the same season he did 2 years ago. We have Fields, who could start for most teams in the conference, and Ramsby will still get his fair share of carries. He needs to stay healthy to keep his speed and get his 20+ yard runs for him to get that same kind of production he did two years ago.

Pretty dang cool for the conference to get two in the top ten.

Is there a Top 10 WRs Hastily Converted to RB list? Because then maybe my Panthers could contribute something.

It will be interesting to see how our new coaching staff uses Matt Breida. I'm sure he'll bust more than his fair share of long touchdown runs, but I'm not sure he's poised to have a big year statistically.

I imagine he'll be used in the passing game more often, which to me means his numbers might go up. (Total yardage that is)
