Someone I spoke with on the phone indicated that one of the gauges downstream from the dam was running around 15,000 cfs, which sounds incredible.

Per the San Jacinto River Authority web site (http://www.sjra.net) the current lake level is 203.96 ft and the current release rate is 13,765 CFS. That is one heck of a lot of water.

We've had about 14 inches in my part of The Woodlands. My son's school had to cancel the Baccalaureate ceremony tonight, but hopefully the actual Graduation tomorrow won't be impacted.
