I would have to think so. Increased media interest for sure. The downside is if the Owls were somehow able to pull off the upset, this debacle would be wielded by pundits to minimize the victory and marginalize the team. While that may be true, let's win the game and find out how it gets spun later on. The fact is, even with Briles gone, Baylor will have a ton of talent lining up against us..

It looks like Starr may survive. I suspected that when Baylor late yesterday finally had a press release saying he was still President pending the outside counsel report. Starr is a political animal and I can see him pulling all of the strings he needs in the political arena (including donors to both Baylor and conservative politics) to keep his job. Also would bet he is playing the Waco PD is incompetent angle bringing up the biker shootings as an example. Can tell the tale that it was Briles and Waco PD who conspired to keep the arrests/investigations secret from everyone, especially himself.

At least Briles was smart enough to delete his twitter account so he didn't dig his grave any deeper.

He was both President and Chancellor. They will move him to Chancellor only and probably move him out in 3 or 4 months.
