Question D1 Baseball Field of 64 as of May 24th
D1 has Rice a #2 seed at #6 National seed TT. Oral Roberts is #3 and Wright State #4 seed in the regional.

FAU is a #1 seed, but playing in Tempe vs. #2 seed ASU.

USM is a #2 seed vs. #3 seed Boston College at Ole Miss.

La Tech is a #3 seed vs. #2 seed TCU at LSU.

Rice is the only one of the CUSA teams playing in a Regional against a National seed. I'm somewhat surprised they don't have the Owls and DBU switch locations with the Owls as a #2 in College Station rather than projected #2 DBU.

RE: D1 Baseball Field of 64 as of May 24th
Baseball America has Rice as the #2 seed in the Coral Gables regional, matched up with #1 national seed Miami, South Alabama, and Fairfield.

Be nice if Rice can find its way into the New Orleans regional. Fingers crossed! Unless a CUSA tourney sweep would put Rice back into the hosting discussion, obviously I pull for that above my own selfish desire to see the Owls play 1 block from my house...
