Bonus points for whoever can spot the spelling error.

But yeah nice work by UC on the ticket package . Love the former players stubs and honoring the 1992 final 4 team 25 th anniversary

The fact that "Vaughn" is the only lower-case name?

Lispcomb.

Winner winner . I would have never known it was wrong unless someone pointed it out to me. We'll call it even I'm sure people at Lipscomb spell it Cincinatti.

Nice catch on the Vaughn being the only one in lower case though.

12ppg/10rpg achievable?

Seems like we get pretty thin after Washington/Clark up front....Brooks going to be able to contribute?

Brooks, Scott, and Quadri will see playing minutes.

From what I've heard, Quadri is playing like a different person. Game smarts and energy. I think something clicked for him after the injury and he came out swinging. I hope I'm right.
Seems like he was playing pretty well in that tournamnet game before he got hurt. Hopefully the game has slowed down for him bc I feel he has the physical gifts to succeed.

I've raised the point for a couple years now.... in the long run cheating pays off in college athletics. What are they going to do to you, take away some wins and limit some schollies for a couple years? That's really nothing when you consider the amount of $$$ that comes to you win you win on the big stage.

Yes it does. I'll bet Michigan and Syracuse fans would agree.

Just a heads up .. If you are thinking about attending the UC/ Butler game in Indianapolis on Sat Dec 10th, there are about 70 tickets left on line at the Butler Athletics site for $20 . Most of those are in Sec 317 top 2 rows.

There's a group of UC fans sitting in 317 that I got my tickets through. Should be a heavy-UC section if you're considering going. A Saturday at 4:30 is such a perfect time to make the hour and a half drive up to Indy. I expect a lot of UC fans there.

Do they really rank AdjD&O before there are any stats to use as data? What's UCs RPI?

Yes. The KenPom is a predictive rating system. So the preseason rankings are predictive adjustments based on returning players. For most teams, using last season's efficiency numbers are good predictors of what will happen the following season (when adjusted for returning players). It isn't perfect since it doesn't account much for new additions unless they are top 50 recruits but it has been just as good or better than the AP Polls for predicting how well teams will finish.

Basically just uses returning players, recruit rankings and prior year numbers to make a prediction of where they'll be. It's a pretty good system for preseason projections though obviously we'll know more as the season goes on.

I don't believe transfers are put into his preseason predictions. So this is without Washington I think.

How did he disrespect UC? He went to play for the winningest coach of all-time. Can't blame a guy there.

Rothstein:

The best thing the AAC has going right now is the healthy rivalry between UConn and Cincinnati. Every game is like the Thrilla in Manila.

He's absolutely correct. It was the reason I was hoping they would come with us in any conference realignment.
