I asked a simple question because I actually read the article. He spent one year at UAB and his mom works here. He left after one year and the whole time he was here NO ONE ON THIS BOARD EVEN CARED. So now he does a hole in one, the Al.com article states "Birmingham's own..." So I went "That's strange because the thread says 'UAB's own' but he went to 3 other schools."

All I stated was even though some claim him as a Blazer, does he consider himself a Blazer. It's like guys who played for the football team and once they were done, they kept up with other players but due to situations that happened while in school they don't necessarily keep up with UAB.

The whole point of a discussion is not to read or listen just to reply, but to take in what one side is saying, process it, understand thier view and present yours. I get what Memphis says, kid played here one year, he's a Blazer...to Memphis. I know a former softball player who only keeps up with softball and nonething else. She'll tell you she played softball and graduated from UAB but if you say "Hey basketball went to ncaa's" her response is "cool for them" then she'll put on her UA crimson hat and watch the SEC network.

I never said DON'T CLAIM HIM, HE LEFT US. I asked does he claim UAB, seeing that he left and went to other schools. Now if you said 'former Blazer and Birmingham native' I could see that. But it's symantecs. I didn't mean to ruffle your jimmies. Thought we were big Kids having adult discussion.
