RE: Time to expand Williams Stadium
I will be disappointed if our next home game vs. BYU and us being (5-1) isn’t a sellout.

You mean Gardner Webb? The byu and VT games were already announced as sell out I think.

I didn’t realize they had already been announced sell outs. I wasn’t counting the GW game. I don’t expect a sell out for GW.

I guess the tweet said all public tickets sold, not sure if there is a nuance to that with season tickets.

I think that means there are still some student tickets available or something similar.

Makes sense. Either way, if the weather plays along, the BYU game could be the most packed and best atmosphere we'll experience for at least five years.

RE: Time to expand Williams Stadium
I am really looking forward to seeing a packed out stadium on Saturday.
Hope those berms are full of fans. Wonder how many BYU fans will show up? The wxtended forcast says it should be sunny and cool, perfect day for football.

RE: Time to expand Williams Stadium
The website has "limited tickets" still available. Rumor has it that they got 4k students say they would stick around to go to the game before leaving for break. I'm not sure how well that will pan out, but I suspect it will be a smaller section either way. The other question is how may VT fans will show up now that they are 2-8. I was expecting them to take over our upper East stands before, not so sure now.

If VT was a credible P5 team this year, with a winning record, this game would be a sellout with VT fans buying all the remaining tickets. As Will says, VT fans may expect that LU will beat VT, and that would be to much for some fans to take. Especially for a traditionally strong P5 team like VT. I wished they had played better this year to have made this game more interesting.

Being on ESPN+ at noon tells the importance of this game.

These Thanksgiving weekend games really kill attendance.
