The tough part is that he never even had a chance to workout with the Steelers. They just decided to clear room for some other positions, so they dumped the least experienced kicker they had without giving him a chance to out-perform the other guys.

The NFL is brutal.

NFL kicker is brutal - way too many applicants for so few openings. All he can do is try to remain in someone's mind for when they have need
