Plus we're getting ready to add some later games....

Realistically the earliest is more like 2025.

.@joeovies No denying I learned a little from Commish yes.I'll admit the additional contract was news to me. That said, Network will happen.

At this point I would be shocked if he went out on a limb without concrete information.

Yes the ACC Network is coming.

Brando seemed to be will connected while with CBS (McMurphy, Slive, etc), not sure if he kept them. He isn't a shock jock for sure.

Biggest fish would be Texas - if you can deal with them. OU would be a good add, IMO.

Assume no Big XII teams...
If it has to be a G5, I would like it to be Cincinnati.

RE: ACC Network Coming Soon? Notre Dame Leaving?
I'm sure if Notre Dame is coming aboard as a full member they will have a say into who the next member will be. This could be their last power play as an independent as to whom they would like to have as a rival as well as to being a new conference mate. I would actually like to see ESPN/ABC/Disney merge or buyout NBC with all their affiliates for that IMO would be a perfect fit for a new ACCNetwork.

It can be easily figured out. How much of a % of a total share does ND get from the ACC now?

20%.

But that's only until the Irish join all-in for football (sooner than you think, according to the current internet rumor).

There are two concurrent current internet rumors:

1) ND full member of the Big Ten soon;

2) ND full member of the ACC soon.

I don't believe either one is remotely close to the truth.

Brando said he talked to "the ultimate" ACC source. Probably "the dude".

For basketball, which accounts for about 20 percent of television monies, Notre Dame, as the 15th school, will receive one-fifteenth of ACC revenue.

IF ND were to hand over its currently equal vote to another conference would it be to the B1G or ACC? As it stands, there are 6 decision makers in the P5. If Texas goes independent there would be 7?07-coffee3

That will work. Status quo for ND's status and a new ACC Network. Done.

I don't think that will ever happen. The Big XII NEEDS UT (so they will match any ACC offer) and, all things being equal, UT would be happier in the Big XII.

Also, if that happened, I think we'd see Oklahoma to the SEC

we'd probably see the Big XII still exist, but grab all it could to stay relevant....

BYU, Houston, Cincinnati, Memphis, UConn

no, Texas has stated before they'd gladly be in a conference with Notre Dame.

If ESPN decided to try and go all in, who knows how much they'd pay to get all their properties together

It makes sense on a lot of levels....ESPN would be bolstering themselves against the Fox/B1G deal

Get ND and Texas in the ACC together

Get Oklahoma and someone in the SEC (maybe Kansas?)
