It IS OUR MONEY you dipshit. It is NOT THE GOVERNMENTS moneys. This isnt cuba. This isnt venuzuela, as much as you'd like it to be.

There needs to be a tax payer bill of rights passed in congress. I'm sick and tired of the people who work their ass off having money sucked out of their wallet to give money to those who refuse to work. And many REFUSE TO WORK. Look at the states who have re-implemented the work requirement to receive benefits.

Are their people who need help? Sure. But those are few and far between. They are NOT THE NORM.

This is a perfect example of how totally f'kd up some people are. "It was never your money." "You didn't build that company, the government did." These sentiments are as close to pure communism as there can be.

We have to be satisfied that they will never achieve anything in their lives and will always be pi$$ed and miserable because everything isn't going the way they dreamed it. They are failures as human beings. Truly worthless.

RE: Food Stamp Confrontation
Food Stamps are intended as a subsidy for the agriculture, food, and grocery industry.

Yelling at the low income guy misses the point entirely.

Go yell at a farmer, or Kroger, or Archer Daniels Midland if you don't like that subsidy.

Get rid of food stamps and that subsidy will go directly to thr industry rather than through the low-income middle man first.

Which is why some in the government wants a $15 min wage.

It pushes 'support for the poor' off of the government and taxpayers (who by and large are higher paid) and onto consumers of products and services generated by min wage workers, who by and large are NOT the higher paid.

The real question is, do they drop taxes (I doubt it) when that happens or merely shift the spending to something else (my bet).

No, the lefties expect the employers to operate at a deficit like their benevolent government does.

I don't have issues with lending a helping hand - particularly if that person is actually working. The real heartburn comes from the fact that the entitlement system the government has set up doesn't encourage doing the right things to get off the dole. Besides the fact that the system if rife inefficiencies if not pockets of fraud - there is an element of that very same government that uses it as a voting carrot, "vote for me and I'll keep that entitlement spigot open and flowing.

I am on the side of the woman. She is right. He is stealing my and yours money when he swips that card. Abolish all welfare. I am tried of losing my hard earned funds for moochers and lazy boys. As John Smith said: "Those who shall not work, shall not eat."

Didn't you say you worked at Chik-fil-a and go to college? Are you sure you've ever paid into the system?
Yes, he's in college.

I remember being in college and working for beer / food money too. It was tough working a couple days a week at a no stress brainless job and getting all my federal taxes refunded to me each year.

100% agree.

And if we a a society are not willing to ask tough questions of those receiving these benefits (Like asking, "How did you get into this situation?", "What decisions did YOU make that contributed to your inability to meet your responsibilities?", and "what are you going to do to prevent yourself from getting in this situation again?"), then we are no better than parents of Millenials that raise children unable and unaccountable to meet the "real world" on their own. Too bad if it is "uncomfortable" or "hurts your feelings", but we too often as parents and citizens, avoid the tough but needed conversation out of protecting sensitivities. Remember, the best friend you can ever hope for is one that is willing to honestly tell you the things you don't want to hear and ask you questions that you would rather not have to answer.

As for who is sticking it to taxpayers, I believe they exist all along the socio-economic scale, from poor welfare cheats to middle class tax cheats to doctors who cheat on Medicaid and Medicare claims to the wealthy and corporations who use every loophole and offshore opportunity they can find to avoid paying taxes.
