Tuesday:

I feel like we would need a sweep tonight and some help in order to have a chance to get back to 3rd.......but that's my opinion

Thanks to our (USM) opponents picking up some key wins lately USM now has 0 losses against teams with an RPI of 100 or worse. Granted this will surely change by the end of the weekend but it does make our resume` look better.

It was pretty comical in the bottom of the 7th, but the Tech RBI count is suffering because of the ULM mistakes. Up 8-1 with the bases loaded and nobody out, the first run scored when the catcher overthrew the pitcher and nobody backed up at second base. After a walk reloaded the bases, the next two runs scored on a wild pitch and a passed ball.

Always nice to beat one of the UL twins and we seem to be doing more often than not. I wonder if that is why they dislike us so much.
