"I think being in the Conference-USA, where you have a lot of weak opponents, allows Rick to amass a good record," Bertman said. "Although, that's not the case this year. The guy's got a wonderful team, and he deserves a lot of credit. It's a terrific baseball team."

How arrogant! We have one of the stronger baseball conferences and the #1 team in the nation.

Skip Bertman is a ******* plain and simple. He's tried 2 out of the last 3 years to keep my team out of Omaha by making us play the ACC and SEC champs on the road in the Super Regionals. He's failed both times. :D His bias towards SEC teams is sickening.

Coastal Carolina, who plays excellent college baseball, plays in the Big South Conference, and were given a #1 seed. This fellow has a premature Herd On. Tulane, has a great baseball program, as does some other fine schools in C-USA. I will extend my congratulations toward Tulane, for a great year, and am as sorry that they lost as if they were my team. I sat here on my couch, and rooted for them every game. There will be another day.
Best Wishes to the GWave!
