The reason I ask is that our AD is on a campaign to get 4,000 donors that contribute at least $100. He claims that would put us at the top of CUSA. https://www.ktsm.com/news/local/el-paso-...1309689135
I’m wondering if that’s true.

Your AD is not saying that would be the most money raised, he's saying 4k donors would be the highest total in the conference.
Well that makes sense since the math wasn’t adding up. Thank you.

4000 is a really great goal. We are doing well in the total donations part of the equation, but only have 1,918 donors at the last ODAF ranking update. That number will go up as we inch closer to football and bball season but not by much.

Last year we had 2825 ODAF members. I guess we need to pick up the pace just to stay even.

Looks that way. Currently, 1918 is listed as last place for the rankings. But it has been the same for a few months now. I guess it's possible there are a bunch of people tied for last place. I'm just not sure when it was last updated.

Edit; I just did the "point estimator" and it says total members at 1,922. So, it looks like they have a ways to go to catch last year. Though basketball renewals haven't been sent yet.

According to another article I read we are at a 1/4 of the goal. It’s going to be hard to reach half of what he wants. If we can get some wins it might open people’s bank accounts.
