Until Gregg Marshall comes out and says he has removed his name from the Memphis job, they should be nervous though.

True, I would be nervous if I was a WS fan and my coach - after 3 days - has not reaffirmed his commitment to WS. All he has to do is say "l am remaining at WS" and it ends.

I agree, it is a great way to get ratings, but he has a point. Marshall could end it now, but he has chosen to extend the drama.

Tiger fans know all to well the anxiety caused by a coach flirting with another program.

Hey Shocker. Is Shocker nation weary of dealing with this year after year? I know we got tired of Cal flirting with every decent opening. Of course, Cal was sleazy and used other schools to get raises, and I don't think Marshall is doing that.

We know how it feels to have a coach take our program to heights and then leave. It doesn't feel good. I don't wish that on you or your fanbase. Except that, in a way, I guess I do.

But I'd feel bad about it. Briefly.

Ummmm, what is sleazy about that? If other schools show interest, you listen and weigh your options. BTW - Marshall has already gotten pay raises (I believe twice) since being at WSU.
