Guys like Kravetz and Solecitto are going to be needed this season too. Myers will have to close now? Or maybe they will bring in Duplantier after all late in the game??

I say bring in Duplantier and even Salinas.

I thought you have been pushing for Solecitto to pitch?

I read his statement as an attempt at extreme sarcasm....

Hey you caught that.

DiCaprio didn't play because (1) A&M started a right-handed pitcher and (2) he hasn't played right field in awhile. Kopycinski won the game.

Great win versus A&M so the euphoria will cloud some questions. For those of you that mock him Law has a point. Not sure what he meant how it hurts Duplantier stock. More often than not Rice falters in the regional. Other staffs are more well rested and deeper. Just look at how other teams use their bullpens and the distribution of innings. With Warren out Dicaprio still didn't play. That is puzzling at best.

Warren is injured and will be out for 3 - 4 weeks with a fractured hamate bone in his hand. Hunter is the everyday catcher, with Dom spelling him on occassion, because he is the far superior defensive catcher at this point (regardless to what YOU think)...and Hunter has been at his best behind the dish the last week. Dom will get his ABs. Quite honestly, I just don't get Staab as DH, even against right-handed pitching. IMO, with Warren out, Dom should be the DH against right-handed pitching, and against tough left-handers I'd go with Dom catching and Dunlap as DH.

??? I don't recall Donna coming out at any time to look at Otto.

Just from reading the thread this morning, I think the visit was for Hunter K.

Yes, Hunter took a foul tip and took several minutes to walk it off. Donna eventually came out, but Hunter just waved her off as she approached the mount.

Enough about Law - he doesn't deserve our attention.

Any update on Amador?

Aggies outnumbered us by at least 3:1, unfortunately...but still, great crowd and atmosphere.

One of the quietest Aggie fan groups ever. Didn't hear that annoying Whoo until 8th inning.
