A "parent" (the Democratic machine of Detroit and Flint) knowingly and willingly allowed poison to be ingested by their children (the people of Flint), and you are blaming the 911 operator (the Governor) for not responding fast enough when the kids are unconscious from the poison and the emergency call comes in?

Are you related to Ray Nagin, by chance?

There's a republican governor, for the first time in a long time. Of course they will place as much of the blame as possible on him. They are despicable people, no doubt. And Tom defends them.

The "state" is fundamentally responsible for virtually every screw-up that occurs in America but it only matters when a Republican is in charge.

Someone help me out here. Exactly what is it that the governor should have done differently? And what is the chain of causation from that to the problem?

While you are at it, same questions for any other parties to the process.

Yep, and that's exactly what TankerTom is trying to sell everyone here with this thread. He's never seen a Republican he's likes and unfailingly defends everything Democrat - but just ask him, he's an independent.............maybe independent water hauler.......

Yep, funny how Bush and Michael Brown got slapped with Katrina, and Nagen skated. Especially since;

1. Florida got hit by Katrina, but because Florida had a republican governor, they handled the problem as efficiently as possible.

2. Mississippi is actually the state that took the brunt of Katrina. But because they were run by a republican governor, they handled things as efficiently as possible.

3. New Orleans doesnt even take a direct hit by Katrina. But because they have ******** liberals running the city and state, their people die due to complete incompetence.

You calling me a liar?

Not to mention the whole idiocy of this constant diatribe around here that us liberals are required to like republicans...vote for them...and support conservative causes and ideas, yet none of us liberals even give two ***** whether you vote for a democrat or support a liberal cause.

It's just so ridiculously stupid.

We have differences and there's not a damned thing wrong with that, so just kindly shut the **** up about it, mmmmkay?

WTF does this have to do with conservatives????

And this wasn't an EPA issue because it had nothing really to do with the environment. Yes, they made some mistakes, but it's not where the bulk of the blame lies. That's what this panel, appointed by Snyder, found.

I guess you chose not to read the news reports about the EPA e-mail where the woman responsible said people in Flint weren't worth sticking their neck out for and ignored the bad readings?

While you are at it, same questions for any other parties to the process.

1. Democrats bankrupted the city
2. State bailed them out.
3. Flint decided to switch water sources to save money, but Democrats in Detroit tried to charge them an arm and a leg in the interim to continue using Detroit water.
4. State appointed administrator took cheaper route for the interim using Flint River water, which had chemicals that corroded the old pipes in Flint.
5. Lead from the old pipes got in the drinking water.
6. State bureaucracy ignored problems.
7. Obama's EPA ignored problems.
8. Democrats blame it all on Republicans.

Yes, yes I am calling you a liar. Anybody with basic analytical skills will come to the same conclusion after being exposed to a number of your posts. And I have certainly never said you or any of your folks ("us liberals" as you put it) should vote one way or the other, so I don't know where you're getting that nonsense. And I don't give a sh!t whether "you liberals" don't give two ***** who I vote for.

And why you do you constantly demand that i "shut the **** up" about anything? You really need to change that mentality of wanting to silence people who disagree with you or call you out.
