Quote:STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State and Houston will play three times in college football starting next year.
The Cowboys and Cougars will play at Houston in 2006 and Houston will play in Stillwater in 2007 and 2008.
OSU coach Mike Gundy says he likes playing in the Houston area because the Cowboys recruit the area heavily and the games give the team exposure.
OSU's non-conference schedule for next season is now complete with home games against Missouri Southern and Florida Atlantic and a game against Arkansas State in Little Rock.
I like this announcement. I have always said that we should play team like Oklahoma State. This is a great deal for the Coogs!!

I know people do not like Franchione, but he is a hell of a coach. I think atm will be doing considerably more winning than losing in the near future.

This is a good postive for Houston, and C-USA. Texas Tech, would be a fun game to watch as well. The offense they run is very exciting to watch. Best Wishes to the "Coogs." The only problem with OSU. If you play them on a tough Saturday, they can be just as tough as OU. If you catch on another week, you guys can beat them. I pullin' for ya.

Relating to UofHouston, I a married an Aggie, father-in-law is a retired A&M Math professor, mohter-in-law worked for the A&M Former Students Association for 15 years, brother-in-law and two sister's-in-law all graduated from A&M. Yet, I keep the Coog flame alive at all gatherings! You have to imagine what I take week-end-week-out. The one thing that I do feel that I have estasblished/re-enforced is the Coog history and potential for greatness! They all agree this is very possible...as the Coogs remain respectable! They also agree that Baylor took Houston's spot in the Big XII...given Gov. Ann Richard's involvement at the time! They all agree Houston would have contributed much more than Baylor could have and will ever contribute! No disrespect to Baylor (my parents are both Baylor alum). Sorry if I digress.....but, the point is that we all bare the responsibility to promote the Coogs at every opportunity! Sincerely, "I bleed Cougar Red!"........GO COOGS!
BTW: I also think OSU is a great step in the right direction! If we can get Tech...all the better!
