Good size, speed and acceleration look good for a bigger wr.

Wonder if SpringboroMark has any info on this kid?

Not yet until now, great pick up. I saw almost all of their home games last year. This kid has a nose for the football, runs very good routes as well as finding the open field if his QB is out of the pocket. BTW the senior QB from this past season on Springboro high is going to BGSU. His name escapes me, consider a 2 start recruit for the Falcons. The Falcons got a good one, as they always do.

I really hope we can keep this kid. His size stands out right from the start. I think there will be a bunch of other schools after him.

Recruiting is a b**** in the MAC. Good luck to Coach Candle & staff in their first year trying to reel in the best quality recruits.

It was just reported on ch. 24 that 1st Team All-City League WR, Bryce Mitchell (6-3, 200, Toledo Bowsher), was offered a scholarship and has committed. He wants to play at home.

Yup! Cande & co. snagged a local. Gotta love it. Haven't seen him play yet but I'll definitely follow him this upcoming season.

This is Candle's 2nd recruiting class (year).

This is the first full recruiting cycle that he and his assistants are running the program.

New staff has certainly shown early on they're going to try and satisfy desire they not forget the home of football or the home of the University in their recruiting. Whether the players actually come here who knows but the attempt is being made.

RE: 2017 Football Recruiting Thread
as with Beckman, when you can't recruit'em steal'em. One concern when Campbell took the job was if he could recruit normal B12 territory. If he plans on feasting on Ohio, Pa. and Michigan the left overs from the B1G won't compete against the top B12 teams over a regular season, as they couldn't for Beckman at Illinois in the B1G.
