RE: Down Goes Ross!!!
The Daily Press reported that Blaine Taylor is interested in the Delaware job. No report as to whether the feeling is mutual.

I'm okay with that- I wouldn't have to listen to him announce W&M games any more.

Looks like Delaware will hire University of Michigan Senior Associate Athletic Director Chrissi Rawak as their A.D. today and then it is time to move on to hiring a basketball coach finally.

Nothing like hiring the AD after all other DI schools already have a coach. Interesting just how long it took them knowing after hiring an AD they could then start to look for a coach. At this point they may just offer Ross a new contract to comeback for a year to hold the fort down until coaches open up next season. Just a bad situation in Newark.

Looks like the 4 finalists for the Delaware job are associate head coaches Chris Caputo of Miami (Fla.) and Dave Dickerson of Ohio State, Notre Dame assistant Martin Ingelsby and 76ers assistant Billy Lange

They're saying Caputo is the front runner for the job.

Caputo would be a good hire. He knows the region and he knows the CAA.

In addition to the Brey lineage, a Philly fella, so, a natural fit.

They should have hired the associate head coach from Ohio State. That usually turns out well.

Saw on Verbal Commits just now that Delaware got a 2016 commitment from Ryan Daly, a 2 star shooting guard from Radnor, PA. The slow rebuild begins.

While Holden and Corbett have committed elsewhere, Delaware board said that Johnson and Carter may stay and Verbal Commits has them back with Delaware

So they have gone from 4 scholarship and 3 walk on players to 7 scholarship players (2 Seniors, 3 Juniors, 1 Soph and 1 Frosh) and 3 walkons. Still have 2 guys that were released that haven't committed anywhere.

RE: Down Goes Ross!!!
At what point is Bill Phillips officially on the W&M villain list? His negatives are leaving the school in the lurch and coaching at JMU, his only positive is the '97-'98 season.

What's more interesting is that the news was out a week ago, but no mention on the Gohens board...Talk about a numb fan base after this spring.
