My own thoughts and predictions
I don't have hundreds of "sources" to back up my info, this is just my own thoughts.

1) The Big 12 decides (announces publicly) that they don't have enough votes to expand. The networks will have good data to report and bad data to report. The good data will be the potential number of TV sets if they expand with x and y school, but the bad news will be the price point they can get from the cable companies based on who those schools are and the dollar value for the schools will not increase and the conference will struggle to get the network off the ground since there will not be enough content and trouble getting cable companies to provide the channel.

2) Oklahoma will remain quite for a while after the Big 12 announces they will not expand.

3) Texas will announce (behind closed doors) they are keeping the LHN as is.

4) As the B1G TV network is finished, Oklahoma will announce they are departing from the Big 12 and will be joining the Big 10. The second school will be named later, which will be Kansas.

5) Texas secretly desires to follow Oklahoma and they join the B1G.

6) UVA announces they are leaving the ACC to join the Big 10.

The Pac 12 goes into the Central Timezone to expand.

The ACC replaces UVA with Navy unless Notre Dame gives up their independence, which I don't predict will happen.

for the B1G TV contract, NBC picks up a game of the week like SEC does with CBS. Fox and ESPN will share rights to the content without the middle man.

NBC is locked down with Notre Dame through 2024? They won't touch the Big Ten. Nor would the Big Ten schedule games around Notre Dame on NBC.

I agree that the Big 12 won't expand. But it will be hard for Oklahoma to move for a while until the grant of rights goes down in value. If the Big Ten goes to the "yearly sale" of their television rights to the highest bidder like some are suggesting is a possibility, then they can stall until Oklahoma and friend(s) are available to move. We'll see if the Big Ten even wants Oklahoma though.

Are we all in agreement the LHN is one of the most IDIOTIC decisions ever made?

I mean not for Texas, they laugh all the way to the bank while the channel flounders...

Texas isn't going to the Big 10. They might go Independent with a scheduling deal with the ACC. As far as OU and Kansas going to the Big 10. Let them. The SEC will add TCU the moment Texas turns down the SEC.

PAC 12 will not touch any Big 12 schools since the 2 valuable teams would not be coming. Texas/Oklahoma

I see that some nay-sayers are putting down several of the top G5 schools that can draw viewers that can help the Big 12. Yes, they would be down for a couple of years, but they can grow just like TCU to become valuable teams.

I predict most (perhaps all) of that will never happen.

I think with ESPN and FOX struggling financially and all the uncertainty with cord cutting and decreased TV watching altogether there won't be much movement in the near future. Leagues are going to go conservative for the rest of this cycle and probably the next.
