I found another one I never would have guessed.

Senior Eric Holmes in 2000 had a career high 34 points in a season ending CUSA tourney loss to Charlotte.

So, that's McKinley Singleton, Eric Holmes and Robert Brown.

That massacre to Providence is one that helped propel Billy "the Kid" Donovan & Rick Pitino to national prominence..

& it also prevented the 1st matchup between UAB & Alabama.

We would have had to beat a very good Illinois team first.

I thought we played Providence & the winner played Alabama?

Providence played Alabama the next game I thought & waxed them as well.

Almost. Providence played Let's Go Peay next, then beat the bammer out of bammer in the following game.

Almost. Providence played Let's Go Peay next, then beat the bammer out of bammer in the following game.

That's right because Austin Peay upset Illinois in Birmingham. But I do remember we had to win two to get to Bama.

I was off at camp at Cook Springs during that period. You had to get way up on the hill to try and listen to the game.
