I saw a note this morning that said no current president has attended a funeral for a former First Lady since 1962 when JFK attended Eleanor Roosevelt's funeral. Her funeral pretty much set the stage for the type of services we see pretty much now when anyone famous dies. This is an interesting historical look at her funeral.
