It sounds like Zimmer is in there, and with the wrestling background (at a high level) he certainly knows how to use leverage and body position. Will be interesting to see how that turns out. OL coach feeling good!!!
Did you get your roster from BT2?
It's Wimmer!
Typo. Perhaps I was thinking of the now deceased Don Zimmer??

Flimsy I know
If the Z and the W were even on the same row that might fly.

I have a homemade keyboard?
I lost fingers in a kitchen accident?
My kids switched out the letters?
Spent an hour at spring practice this week and the two names you keep hearing over and over are QB Brandon Battle and RB Albert Funderburke, Jr.
While Cluley is, of course, the experienced, three-year starter, it would appear, according to Tribe personnel, that Battle is a strong candidate for our quarterback of the future. A multi-threat qb--pass and run with strong arm and exceptional athleticism. Will be interesting to watch him at spring game where he should get many reps.
Funderburke is being touted as pressing for lots of reps this coming season. Shows power and speed,
change of direction and pace. At 6 foot, 205 a load to tackle. Another guy to watch in spring game.

Where have we heard this before? I'm still waiting for Mosley to make good on those predictions. Call me old school, but I prefer the guys who don't necessarily possess the God given talent but make starter because of hard work, coachability, and an absolute refusal to give up. Mike Callahan comes to mind.

No question on that. Callahan was a great leader and tough as nails. The sight of him getting clobbered by the two North Carolina defensive tackles though remains etched in my mind...

It's not spring ball if people aren't falling in love with the guy who is 5th or so on the depth chart.

If anyone is ready they will play. It depends on what you consider as weak spots too.
I believe that we should try to protect that red shirt year as much as possible. They must be considered as a one or two in the depth chart that will accumulate a ton of snaps throughout the year. To blow that year for two or three plays a game is not worth it for the player or the team in the future.
Plus that year allows the player to transition into a whole different game. The maturity that takes place will benefit everyone down the road.
Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Kevin Rogers
"This is by far the best group we've had during my time here as the offensive coordinator. This is a competitive, hardworking group that possesses the ability to be successful. When we take the field this fall, I expect we'll have multiple quarterbacks who will be able to win games for us."
Kind of quiet. Guess that's a good thing. The position breakdowns give us a good feel for the foundation for next fall. Guys can still make a move though.
Does anyone know the format of the spring game. I've watched a couple on TV. Some break up into teams, others O v D. I believe ours has been O v D.
Picking the O this spring. I think they will be missing a few players Saturday, by can still pull it off.
