I don't know...do we really have enough wins at this point to be a lock for the WNIT? I think we may be 1 or 2 short, which there's still time & games left to address.

WNIT has invited us every year since the 2011 run right? Some teams were not very good. It has to do with the fact we pull in crowds and give the tourney $$$. It's the same reason 16-16 SEC schools get in. Rather 2000 fans than a 25-7 type midmajor with 800 per game.

Could set up an interesting situation for the Athletic Department. Is there enough money to host a WNIT game and "buy in" to one of the lesser tournaments on the men's side? I think the men are a couple wins away but could possibly get an invite to the CBI or CIT or Las Vegas post-season tournament...

2008-2009 lost to BG in MAC semis ---(18-13)

2009-2010 WNIT second round losing to Michigan---(25-9)
2010-2011 WNIT champs ---(29-8)
2011-2012 WNIT Elite 8 losing to Syracuse ---(24-10)
2012-2013 WNIT SWEET 16 losing to Illinois ---(29-4)

2013-2014 lost in MAC quarterfinals to Akron ---(16-16)

2014-2015 WNIT second round losing to Michigan ---(19-14)

Interesting that we have played 1 away WNIT game in that stretch, and none after the title run. I think by having an exceptional home record we will make the WNIT once again, barring maybe two blowout losses to Ball State and then in the quarterfinals.
