Still sad to see him go, but totally understand his decision, and he will be remembered very fondly by Monarchs for years to come. He deserves to go and get to be a superstar for someone. Hope he is Player of the Year for his new conference.

Agree. He stuck it out in the tough times and gets credit for not bailing out during down times.

Hickory, N.C. is like a condensed version of Chesapeake, but with better sweet tea and its Norfolk (Charlotte) an hour away instead of right down the road. They do have pretty respectable sports at the D-II level.

Palmore and his Lenoir-Rhyne Bears took Clemson to double-OT before losing by 3 in an exhibition last night. Keenan had 26 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 4 steals in his debut for LRC.

He was a very good player for us! Loved his game but being a backup did not fit with him well.

Wish he had found a D1 school to transfer to.

Clemson must really be bad

Plus it looks like he'll get a ton of playing time. It didn't count, but he got to shine against an ACC school.

Palmore was named POW in the conference and is averaging 25 ppg. He also scored 36 in the first game of the year and is shooting 81% from the free throw line. Good to see him succeeding but I am happy that we have Caver.

Keenan was named his conference's Player of the Year. He averaged 22 pts, 9 rebounds, and almost 7 assists per game.

Congrats to him.

Congrats to him, but it really shows the difference in levels of competition.

Those are some beast number no matter where you're playing. Happy for Keenan!

True. He played extremely well. I checked his stats from time to time, and I believe he attempted around 550 shots and only 12 were 3s. His lack of a jumper is why he was capable of scoring large numbers at the d1 level.

But as I said before, he made the best decision for him!

Congratulations on having a very good season Keenan. Wish you had remained with ODU this season.
