RE: Goodman: UAB rising
A year ago, Jerod Haase and the Blazers were fortunate and caught fire at the right time to get to the NCAA tourney, winning the C-USA tournament. This year, UAB will win at least a share of the regular-season title and go into the league tourney, which is in Birmingham, as the clear-cut favorites. The Blazers improved to 25-4 overall and are 14-2 in C-USA play.
