no trumpian, but that particular Rubio line is pretty laughable.
The guy with the failing Great Clips is a below average business man.
Not the guy that owns Mar-a-Lago and his own 757, for starters.
He is smart to hide behind LLCs, I'll give him that. That way when his casino goes bankrupt, he just dissolves the casino and doesn't have to use his money or the money of his other ventures to pay his debts. If he did, he wouldn't be a billionaire. He is a below average businessman with a good lawyer.
Isn't that the primary benefit of creating an LLC, CCorp, SCorp, etc? If he didn't do that he'd be a moron.

???
ANY businessman "hides" behind LLC's, just re-upped mine with the SCC 2 minutes ago, was on hold while you were typing that. Further, any businessman with any semblance of assets or liability has a lawyer or several. Accountant or two as well.
No layman could possibly understand and properly do their own taxes if itemizing, depreciating or much of anything else. As the saying goes, anyone that files taxes is breaking the law, somehow. It's impossible to be understood by a mere mortal.
Pretty sure he sold those casino's in AC before that entire schithole essentially went belly up, turned a tidy profit doing so I believe. Not looking it up though.
Again, I'm not defending Trump, not a big fan and very concerned about where this takes us, I think he's inevitable the way the primaries stack up and the anger out here.

Funny how Marco Rubio, a guy who has never 1.) had a real job 2.) run a business 3.) made a payroll wants to criticize Trumps business acumen.

I just wanted to bring up my hero without derailing a thread.
Just curious, what makes Walt your hero?
His work ethic, imagination, drive, Cinderella story, his movies, love of the past and future, Mickey Mouse and my dream job is a screenwriter for Walt Disney Animation.
That's awesome.
Thanks.

Good for you.
Best of luck with that I know that it will work out for you.
Are you tracking towards becoming a writer?
Tracking?
If that means what I think it means about career goals, then yes. I have gobbled up books on writing. But the best lesson is just writing.

can one say the word....."oxymoron"
....the future....
C'mon Stink! Here we have this young person who is excited about their future and you're playing grumpy old "get off my lawn" geezer on him.......
Look on the bright side - We will soon have Donald Trump as our fearless leader and we won't have to pay our mortgage or for gas anymore. Trump daddy will take care of it!
you're right.....I am in a hyper-arsehole mood these days.....
....and I promised myself as a tyke I wouldn't become a 'grumpster'
I haven't watched the news in over 25 yrs......now I remember why....
I thought the last handful of elections were insane.....it's why line 1 is line 1.....now it's just playing out.....it wasn't supposed to happen this damn fast....it's just damn depressing.....
unfortunately, I still live in this cuntry.....what a drag....
if I could turn 64 tomorrow, my arse is in costa by noon.....

Congrats on getting into that program.
