So you're for free trade and you're for some of the highest corporate income tax in the world. You also don't want to let companies bring overseas profits back into the US for investment without taxing them.

So what happens?

Companies leave and you can try to pretend that you are not a part of the problem.

The solutions that Hillary and Bernie are proposing will instead make the problem worse.

Either 1) they're too dumb to understand that, or 2) they're too dishonest to give up a good demgogue talking point. Which is it?

It really is awful that there is some truth there. What is it they always say - The funniest comedy always portrays an element of truth.

Besides - the Clinton's are even better at getting donations from foreigners and foreign governments - they can hide their shenanigans better that way.............

The fact that the company in question is named "Johnson Controls" is quite fitting. One look at Hillary and the sundial goes from midnight to six, if you know what I mean.

I'm going with 2.5... 'We're going to make someone else pay' sells well to stupid voters. See Obama, Trump, Clinton, Sanders (of course others as well, but these especially recently)
