The knuckle draggers have essentially ignored everything that he has said in his past that is more in line with the policies of democrats because he has capitalized on exploiting the fears of people that are mental midgets.

Trump is a character and he has played the part exceptionally well so far.

He's going after people who are tired of arrogant people like you calling them knuckle draggers. He's calling you for the hypocrites you are.

But he is scary. They are responding with emotion to a narcissistic clown who has historically been liberal, has fascist tendencies, makes enemies on every side, has little chance to win the general election and seems to have really lousy judgement to be leading the US in a very dangerous world. They seem him as someone who tells it like it is (personally I don't believe a word he says).

For all you people who think Obama has done a good job, Sanders and Trump are proof he hasn't. We've got a 1930s trend towards socialists and fascists strongmen.

Trump is hated by the latinos, despite saying the "latinos love me" If anyone has watch Univision that would see how Trump is perceived in the Hispanic community. At least Rubio would have a chance with the Hispanics.

If that were the case this wouldn't be true...

They were wrong.
Donald Trump won the Hispanic vote tonight in Nevada.
41% of Hispanic Republicans voted for Trump compared to 29% who supported Rubio.
Via FOX News exit polling:

Wanna try again?

This partially debunks the idea, but not fully IMO. He seems to be doing fine with hispanics in primaries but the Nevada GOP voters were overwhelmingly white (86% iirc) and he'd be dealing with a lot larger base of Hispanics in a general election. I don't think we know how the independents would break.

they know the same that would cross......fk 'em.....god love the catholics...they are a harsh bunch when the nutz are in a vise...

The Daily Kos had a posting a while ago that stated that unions in PA and rust belt expect a lot of defections to Trump.

It's a fact that this was Trump's largest vote count, percentage wise, of the four states thus far.

Rubio beats Cruz although I figured that would be the case, even if the media says otherwise. I still don't see the support growing for Rubio all that much even with all these endorsements he's getting from fellow politicians. Rubio has to beat Trump in a state before Florida IMO. Otherwise, it will be too late even if he wins Florida (and that isn't a slam dunk either). I guess he has a chance in both Georgia and Virginia?

Two predictions. Cruz gets out a week from now if he doesn't win Texas. Kasich also gets out if he doesn't over-perform on Super Tuesday. I think Kasich might be in at this point to try to be Rubio's running mate, and if that looks like a losing proposition, no point in wasting his time any further after next week.

Rubio will stay in through Florida but that also seems to be futile. I think all the Republican candidates blew it by not going after Trump more, especially on his shady business dealings. I would have brought forth individuals who lost their life savings investing in one of his pyramid schemes.

Too bad - I was hoping we'd have a brokered convention. Now the only excitement will be whom Trump picks as a running mate.

I was hoping for a brokered convention too.

I just wanted the excitement and entertainment. Conventions have become predictable and boring.

My home state doesn't have enough intelligence in their unions for that. They voted for Wolf, our awful governor.

I had to look up what state Wolf was governor of. Why is he awful?

The state dumped highly successful Corbett for a guy who manipulated by using children in commercials. Wolf can't pass a budget and he wants to raise taxes.
