I think it is true, though Mike Lee was campaigning for him last week, Sasse campaigned for him in Iowa, and I believe Sessions has as well (to be fair Sessions has also campaigned for Trump). If any senators endorsed him, the turtle would pull them off all their committees and ensure they have no influence. I don't even think Lee will give an official endorsement. That's how the Washington Cartel works.

Sorry, but Cruz is the best candidate for libertarian causes. He may not agree with all of them, but he is a strict federalist and 10th amendment champion. He also doesn't isolate them and paint them as whackos like the GOP and Trump does. He'll give libertarians a voice like none of the remaining candidates will and would certainly be open to compromise with them to form a coalition and bring more of them into the party. Trump, Rubio, and Kasich would form coalitions with democrats. Did you read the piece?

You sound like a leftist. Quit telling us how Cruz makes you feel, and comment on his actual policies. Say something of substance.

RE: Justin Amash Endorses Cruz
I think there's an element of truth to Cruz being the closest to "libertarian" that's left. However a. that's not saying much, b. given his history of truthfulness (lack thereof) and pandering I don't trust him and c. I don't agree with Amash that he's close enough to libertarianism to be worth supporting.

I still like Amash but I'm not biting on this one.

If you want the libertarian movement to gain real influence, vote for Cruz. If you want it to continue to be a 3rd party fringe element, a few congressmen, and the Pauls, don't. It's quite simple. Cruz offers more agreement than anyone else running in either major party and he also offers a seat at the table to shape the future and compromise. It is your only chance to have your say over the next decade. That is why Amash is onboard. Trump is the anti-libertarian, Rubio will isolate you just like McCain and Romney, and the democrats are promising a fiscal disaster.
