You don't get to decide whether or not Sharpton is a black leader unless you are a member of the black community.

If the individuals who met with your President yesterday are the leaders then there isn't much hope for the black race. There wasn't a leader named and that includes Obama.
You don't think Sharpton is a black leader? Then why is he called upon to be the spokesman for families in high profile cases?
He isn't exactly being called upon, he's just pretty steady at being there first. He is the same as any other activist--known and unknown--these days. The majority of his influence comes from the amount of hate he gets compared to his actual worth from white people.

It's getting kind of sad to watch.
You better hope Bernie wins the primary or Obama's legacy will be arresting Hillary and destroying the Presidential election process. God only knows what would happen,, but it won't be good.

I can't wait for the tell-all books to come out after this crowd blows town. we've already got the gates book and the penetta (sp?) book, but the good ones are published after the administration leaves and they can't hurt the authors any longer.
I think we're going to be horrified at how powerful the iranian slumlord was for 8 years.

Link?
And now in addition to you 60 minutes is also a determining factor?
Trust me when I tell you as someone who was entrusted with leadership responsibilities that Al Sharpton is not a leader. Of course it doesn't surprise me that the leaderless White House uses a non-leader as an example of a leader. Dims wouldn't know leadership if it slapped them in the face.
