It would so make my day if the Bearcats could (at least) go deep into the tourney and knock a few teams into (at least) the "losers" bracket or out of the thing altogether... Especially Tulane.

But it'd be great to whomp Houston and punch them over to the Loser's Bracket.

Looks like CTT made his way to Clearwater for a little golf and a bowlcation speech. UC, wearing white, playing postseason in Florida, is a recipe for disaster.

And they look it. Knuckleheads with 2 on and one out get doubled off 1st on a fly to center. First Houston run from a hit batsmen. Then a safety squeeze generates 2nd run. Houston 2-0 in the 5th.

Bomb by Noda. 2-1.

Bearcats. Two more runs on a squeeze. 4-1.

Houston just scored 2 more on another squeeze. Yes, the runner on 2nd also scored on the squeeze as the Cats threw to first to get the batter.

Don't think I've ever seen a two run squeeze play. Must be a bowlcation event.

Well, it was a helluva season... We probably get UCF next and they have had our number...

So the AAC named their conference coach of the year award yesterday and it went to UConn's coach. How is that evening possible? It would be one thing if they gave it to Tulane's coach because he had the best team but UConn? Doesn't add up.

UC currently up 5-4 right now in the 8th. Hopefully they can hang on to get the W.

Well, a terrible start to the season and a rather weak end to it... But a helluva middle.

A stronger start or ending and it looks like the team would/could/should have made the NCAA tournament. Uconn, ECarolina and Tulane all made it from the conference.

And we were at or above .500 against all three of them.

Start 1-11 really just slaughtered this team's chances of doing anything serious. The recovery they had through the mid-to-late season was phenomenal.

In order to get further next year UC is going to need to hit the ball much better. I think they were at or near the bottom of the league in nearly every team hitting category.

Hopefully the pitching will be as good as it was this year too.
