Without any knowledge whatsoever, my guess would be right in the middle.

Based on the one scouting report I could find on him I'm guessing he grew a few inches last year and is now in the 6'6" to 6'7" range. Though I wouldn't be that surprised if he is shorter than that.

Hear ye, hear ye! A Cincy guy no less. Welcome aboard.
The service I saw him as 2 Stars. Sounds like a perfect NKU recruit. But I guess it beats nothing with 5 scholleys to fill.
He is 2-star or no star depending on where you look. Type of player people would have hated on Mick for getting. That said, he does look like a late bloomer type and had at least some bigger schools looking at him (though VT was the only one to offer).
He is said to get a grade on 247 in the next few days

RE: BB Class of 2019
Here's an intriguing quote from his coach at Moeller.
"In my opinion and even as great as Jaxson is now, in that senior year Jeremiah was the best player in Southwest Ohio if not the state," Kremer said. "He had a brilliant senior year for us. He's worked really hard. He's had a dream to be a high-level Division I player and he's going to get that chance."
If Coach Kremer is right, could he be a one and done. Jaxson did that at Texas and declared for the NBA draft. Or does he do the Sean Kilpatrick route and stay too long?
I was very happy that SK stayed, but for his own financial rewards for his hard work it set him back and cost him. Just like bad advise or leaving early has cost other bearcats.....Wingfield and Logan to name 2.

Logan played all four years.
SK wasn't getting drafted no matter when he came out. You can argue the merits of starting your G league journey a year or two earlier but staying and becoming the 2nd leading scorer in school history makes him a legend around here and if the basketball career didn't work out as well as it has he could have used his name for business opportunities around here. Remember Jarron is facing the same thing this year and Jarron was way better as a junior than SK.

I've seen Davenport play many times. I like him. Should be a great contributor as an upper class man, if not a little sooner.
But, I will cover ANY bet on him NOT leaving early. I will even throw in his sophomore year.
Again, being drafted high in the NBA has very little to do with your fundamental basketball skills and much more on your athletic potential.
S.K. stayed too long??? I love SK, but where was he going to go?
p.s. And people get upset with other comments to the point they want to quit the board???

Yeah...it's hilarious how bad some of these takes have been lately. I can't believe the amount of mental gymnastics people must have to do in order to believe what they're saying these days on here.

Boy, ain't that the truth. We've got guys complaining about how many stars the recruits are we're getting(or not getting) and now we got a player who does not have a ranking and has not even gotten here yet, and we're already talking about him leaving early.

Good for them, good for us. Hopefully for the AAC, Penny can turn that into results on the court.
I assume it is the great academics and great on campus facility.

RE: BB Class of 2019
Mika Adams-Woods is supposed to be finishing up his visit with us today.
Quote:A pure point guard, he was named to the NEPSAC’s Class AAA first-team this season. He averaged 19 points, shot 56.8 percent from inside the arc and 42.5 percent from the 3-point line this season. He also averaged 6.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
Only has a 0.88 rating, but I'm not seeing a weakness to his game. A good athlete and good size. Obviously would rather not have to have a freshman starter at PG, but if it comes to that Adams-Woods looks like a good option.
Also 247 changed Charles Coleman's interest towards UC to warm. We are competing with Duke and UConn for him. But at Duke he'd be behind a 5-star center and UConn has a lot more Center/Forward depth then us. If Coleman wants playing time we're his best option. He only has a 0.87 rating, but he would be a huge get. He's an athletic 7 footer who can hit 3's, though he doesn't seem to have an inside game developed yet.

BTW, in other recruiting news...

ESPN 100 4star Jamal Shead has commited to Houston...
so we can put to bed your horsecrap talk about top kids not being able to be recruited to the AAC.
Memphis has the #1 class in the nation.
UCONN has a top 20
UH has a top 100 player right here
WSU has top guys in the Top 115
The AAC hasn't been UC's problem regarding recruiting.
Case closed.

Memphis and UConn are still too early to see if they will actually sustain success. They are using hopes, dreams (and more than likely money) to recruit. Comparing to dirty schools is pointless as UC hasn't been dirty and has there is no reason to think they will start doing so under Brannen.
Houston got it's second 4-star ever and that is case closed? And you say I'm too quick to make judgements. As I've said over and over, have over the last few years been recruiting at (or slightly below) the level that UC recruited at. Your argument is that UC should be able to recruit significantly better then those two.
The AAC has been building it's name over the last few years and recruiting should be slowly improving because of that. If you want to convince me, Brannen needs to recruit significantly better than UH and WSU as Cronin was at or slightly above their level and you say we should expect better.
