I got the flu shot about two months ago. I came down with mild flu symptoms about two weeks ago. They lasted for 10 days! Apparently, if you get the flu from a virus that was not one of the variants in the vaccine, your immune system provides some protection. You have mild symptoms for twice as long as the regular flu.
