BJ Stith
I was talking to Darius James this week about some of the guys sitting out this year and what they might add to the team next season.

He seemed particularly excited when talking about BJ Stith. Darius said that he has that swagger about his game, "He just knows that he is good out there and has that confident swag where other guys just think they are good but aren't really".

Between hearing that along with Twardzik's recent comments on the Coach's Show that BJ had range beyond the NBA 3 point arc it has me looking forward to seeing him play later this year for the Monarchs!

DJ told me the same thing pregame during the last homestand. With freeman and Bacote both graduating, there will be a lot of minutes - and shots - available next season.

BTW, I then asked him if the players called him "sir" yet...he said he wasn't ready for that.

I've got a feeling that they will need him to score around 15 per game next season if we are going to average 60-70.

Yep, need 15 apiece from the Stiths, Talley to approach his potential, one of the other new bigs to get 10 ppg, and one of the freshman to be a day 1 gem. A lot of unknowns. Hopefully JJ can reach them.
