Their top RB was offered by Bama and a few of the kids have multiple SEC offers. Top class in the MAC. As for NIU...well we will see tomorrow. Nice to see Jordan Rowell recommit.

Agreed but the question is why aren't we at the top like that. After our past championshipS we should be.

We aren't as good at selling NIU as they are at selling Toledo. Also, it's probably easier to sell Toledo than NIU.

I'm sure a lot has to do with certain coaches of ours as a few others have mentioned.

I still can't fathom how we are not pulling in classes like this. Competing for the MAC title every year, Orange Bowl birth, and a heisman trophy finalist. These are 3 things Toledo didn't have the past several years that in hindsight should bring in recruits. Its shocking.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple players out of FL that all of us had no idea we were in on. The lowest amount of players in this class that I can remember from Florida.

Toledo out recruited us before and after the Orange Bowl, but we have edge in wins last 8 years. We would have beat them last year with a healthy Hare.

These kids committing now were what, 13 when NIU made the orange bowl? I would bet the majority of these kids couldn't tell you who Jordan Lynch is.

Drequan Brown visiting today. He's a JUCO kid who's from Chicago originally. The coaches have been tweeting at him for awhile now. Looks beastly on film, I hope he shows up in DeKalb this summer.

FYI the coaches have also been tweeting at some class of '17 JUCO defensive ends who would be nice additions also.

CB Devin Haney, Park Hill HS, Kansas City MO., ranked 42nd natinally in his position and 11th in the stare by Rivals. NIU is his only FBS offer so far, would be a heck of get in a conference where Dbacks that can cover are at a premium. State of Missouri is loaded with talent in the 18 class
