Well to go from 1962-0 in the first two games to 710-271 demonstrates that it is tough to beat a team 3 times in one season. That third game was likely played at a neutral court in the conference tourney.
So a team that loses on their home court and away would win 27% of games on a neutral floor is more than most would think.
The pressure on the 2-0 team is higher due to the expected win.
Also in the conference tourney where most all of the 3rd meetings take place the 0-2 team is playing for its post season life.
Fans from the 2-0 teams that lost the third match up would be saying "I can't believe we lost to that piece of crap team"
Overall, it appears to be tougher than I'd think to beat a team three times in a season.
