What about Talley? Yep, clutch. And, I'm loving Ingram too because homeboy plays with huge confidence. Hawks should have won by more but Elon is very scrappy and smart offensively.

Talley actually looks comfortable in those clutch situations at the line, he seems to relish that pressure. Interesting they chose to foul him late after Cacock was replaced.

Talley was clutch and Denzell has ice water in his veins. If the game is on the line I want him with the ball period!

Elon is very scrappy and that makes them dangerous. But, even though our guys were working hard, they were kinda flat as a team. Ingram's clutch shots and Talley going 9 for 9 at the ft line in the second half helped pull it out. While Flemmings struggled scoring tonight, he did other things to help. He is still the man. And Bryce also struggled tonight. That's when it's good to have other players who can step up. And they did.

Nice to know we can still gut out wins even when we aren't playing our best ball, and even when Flemmings and Bryce have offnights. This is what good teams do: Survive and advance.

And now look at us. We have a 2 game lead on the rest of the pack with 5 to play. Who would have thought?

Good win with our 2 terrific wings not rolling. Championship teams are a true team and that's what we are...a team. Two games up now! We can do this for an outright regular season title and an automatic NIT at a minimum. Gotta hold serve Saturday to feel better about it. Work to do. We have to come out more focused next time out.
