This year's W&M has many of the same flaws as past teams but they aren't as severe. They're not great inside but Sheldon's not a pushover. He's not going to get killed and it's not like anyone in the CAA has Ben Simmons. They're erratic on defense but they've shown they can buckle down and play D when required.

Best team review I've ever seen from Rocco!

Page 1 of the Print addition today. The Post also has you ranked 6th in the Atlantic 11 they post each Tuesday. I would have you ahead of Georgetown. Also last Monday you all were front page above the fold in the Richmond Times Dispatch with JMU coverage.

I've noticed many places online use W&M to argue the flaws in the RPI system rather than give them credit. I guess it is the burden of our RPI-killing past that the thought of an actual good tribe team is unthinkable.

If W&M can help lead to the death of RPI being used as a serious metric they should hang a banner in Kaplan for that accomplishment.

I agree. Regretfully, the metrics that include margin of victory are a lot more reliable for predicting game outcomes.
