I feel bad for those players. I'm not fan of L-ville or Pitino, though. Still, maybe some of the guilty parties are being punished, but many aren't. And worse, many innocent parties ARE.

How do you know the current players are innocent? Bet they were getting some too

They self impose because they don't want the NCAA sniffing around more. I almost feel sorry for the players then remember they chose to go to a school that is pretty common knowledge that cheats. If any SEC school gets hit I shed no tear for them. Hell even vandy has been getting in on the act academically breaking rules. (Those who have had kids try to get in there can attest to this).

You go to a drug den don't be shocked if you get punished with everyone else when the place is busted.

You do it now so players don't transfer in the off season

I'm going to guess they aren't all guilty. Some may be. Others who played from '10-'14 are guilty but unpunished, since they no longer play and weren't banned.

Did Pitino say anything about L'vile vacating the 2013 crown ?

It was only a matter of time because of the nature of the allegations. Yeah, there's no way of knowing if current players were involved, but the way the NCAA penalizes always gets me since it usually really only impacts kids that don't have anything to do with violations.

Exactly. Pitino acts like he is shocked by all of this. I read on ESPN that this is likely just the beginning of the punishment.

Why? They transferred to a school well-known for its shadiness.

I thought they transferred there to attend graduate school.
