Last I heard it was a Gold Rush game, and they were doing a shirt swap as well for the early.

The shirt swap is a good move. We should be doing this several times a year. UAB sent out an email, so I'm assuming that is the plan.

Quote:Gold Rush Thursday to Feature T-Shirt Swap
UAB to host FIU Thursday at 6 p.m. at Bartow Arena

All fans are encouraged to wear gold in support of Gold Rush Thursday – a season-long campaign to outfit Bartow Arena completely in gold.

Additionally, the UAB Department of Athletics, in conjunction with UAB Student Affairs, will offer a gold t-shirt swap for the first 1,000 fans in attendance – 500 students and 500 from the general public – who bring an apparel item from any other school or team.

Did it? If it did no one told me about it. Last I checked Gold was one of our colors and we have had only one Gold Rush this year. This will be number two. Are you going to be there or complaining from afar?

Don't talk to me about a UAB fan complaining about something the athletic department does. That's all that is done these days. I am just trying to fit in.

No, you just seem to be trying to stir up a controversy where there is not one.

Green Rush doesn't make for a catchy hashtag.

Gold rush.

As bad as that is on its own, 'gold out' is even worse (and not correct)

Bazertalkers have spent plenty of time complaining about people not wearing green, no need to single out MB.
Now 2 "goldrushes"--which people seem unaware of
Zero "be seen, wear green" games

I thought it was appropriate.
